May 15 (UPI) -- Officers at a Wisconsin police department are tipping their hats to a senior prank that used the power of illusion to make it appear as though a car had crashed into the school.

The Cumberland Police Department posted photos to Facebook of the scene at Cumberland High School, which appears at first glance to have a car crashed halfway through the brick wall next to a door.

A closer look, however, reveals that the car itself is only half of a junked automobile and the hole is merely black paper taped onto the wall, with loose bricks scattered around it to complete the optical illusion.

"Hats off to the Cumberland High School Class of 2018 on your senior prank," the police department said. "Congratulation Class of 2018 on one of best senior pranks that Cumberland High School has seen. Congratulations to all the seniors who are graduating."
