Alligator chased across golf course by flock of geese

May 9 (UPI) -- A golfer at a Florida course captured video of an alligator being chased off the course by a large flock of geese.

Ryan Witkowski of Jupiter was participating Sunday in the Christie's Critters golf invitational at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens when he captured video of the unusual scene.

The video shows the geese honking aggressively at the gator, which witnesses theorize may have eaten one of the birds' babies.

Onlookers say they have seen alligators and geese interact before, with the birds sometimes being found sitting on the alligators.

"You never know what is going to happen on the golf course!" Witkowski wrote.
