Felicia Wilson of Pelham said Juno, an African serval cat roughly the size of a medium dog, has been missing since escaping from her home last week. Advertisement Wilson said Juno is domesticated and does not pose a threat to the public. The Pelham Police Department asked anyone who spots the cat to contact authorities. The department said it received some calls after first posting about the cat on Tuesday afternoon, but they were mostly unhelpful. "Since our post this afternoon, we've been inundated with calls about the missing African serval," the post said. "We would like to reiterate one thing: please call us if you SEE the animal. Calls with advice on how to capture it are not needed. We have experts aiding us in the search."
