Hawaii resident captures video of double waterspouts

Feb. 16 (UPI) -- A Hawaii resident who looked out to the ocean while leaving work captured video of a rare sight -- two waterspouts forming at the same time.

The resident said they were heading home from work in Lahaina, on the island of Maui, when they noticed the dueling waterspouts off the coast of nearby Maalaea.

"That is insane," the filmer comments during the video.

"Double waterspouts forming off the coast of Maalaea in Maui, Hawaii. I was heading out of Lahaina leaving work, and was able to catch it while forming," the filmer wrote.
