Albino deer spotted in Quebec drive-through safari

Feb. 12 (UPI) -- A Canadian man taking his family through a Quebec wildlife preserve captured video of their encounter with a rare albino deer.

The video, recorded Saturday, shows the man attempting to entice the all-white animal with an offered carrot.

The deer appears apprehensive, leading the man to toss the carrot into the snow, where the animal retrieves it.

'We took the kids to a drive-through safari in Quebec," the filmer wrote. ''On the way through, we spotted an albino deer. It was magnificent.''
