Home-invading squirrel evades capture in bathroom cabinet

Jan. 31 (UPI) -- A New Jersey resident shared a short video from an ill-fated attempt to capture a squirrel that made its way into their home and wound up in a bathroom cabinet.

The video, filmed Thursday inside a New Brunswick home, shows a man attempting to use a box to capture a squirrel in the house's bathroom cabinet.

The squirrel jumps over the man and makes a run for it, causing the filmer to scream and drop her camera.

"A squirrel got into my attic then broke through the sheetrock and got into the bathroom cabinet. This was when we tried to catch it," the filmer wrote.

It was unclear whether the squirrel was successfully evicted.
