Jan. 25 (UPI) -- A Japanese swordsman showed off his skills during a Tokyo snowstorm by using his blade to slaughter several snowmen.
The video, posted to Twitter by theater company Kodomokyojin, shows the man going out different exits at the Tokyo venue and using his katana to slaughter the snow sculptures.
The sculptures range from large and elaborate human likenesses to miniature versions of the traditional stacked-snowball snowman.
The temperature in Tokyo Jan. 25 was 25 degrees, the city's coldest temperature marked in 48 years.
