Dave Grashoff of Roseville said he was getting ready for work Tuesday when he caught video of the large cat wandering down his driveway. Advertisement "I knew it was bigger than a cat, it almost looked like a golden retriever," Grashoff told KOVR-TV. "The last thing I would've expected to see that large cat, or mountain lion, or bobcat or whatever it might be," he said. "It seemed to take this path right here." Grashoff said he is hoping experts with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife can confirm whether the animal is a puma or another species of cat. Lara Kirkendall, a feline expert at the Sacramento Zoo, said the animal appears to be a large house cat -- possibly a Maine coon or other large breed -- but she isn't sure. "[Cougars] are in the area, so it is possible to have a sighting of it, but from the small picture I saw it could be maybe a bobcat, someone's main coon cat got out," she said.
