RC car speeds through traffic on Houston highway

By
Ben Hooper

Jan. 18 (UPI) -- A shocked man driving on a Houston highway captured video of an unusual vehicle speeding along next to him -- a small radio-controlled car.

Alex Villa posted a video to Facebook showing what he saw Saturday afternoon when he was driving in the southbound lanes of Highway 59.

"Alright, just on 59, someone thought they would bring their remote-controlled car -- literally on the freeway!" Villa says in the video.

The RC car in the video appears to be following a white pickup truck, and exits behind the much larger vehicle.

"That was his exit, apparently," Villa quips.

The video prompted several viewers to ask after the whereabouts of Woody and Buzz, the Toy Story protagonists who took a ride on an RC car in an attempt to reach owner Andy's moving truck in the 1995 film.
