Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Andrew W.K. offered to pay a fan's speeding ticket Monday after he was pulled over while listening to the rockstar's newest song, "Music Is Worth Living For."

"Casually driving down the M4 and @AndrewWK new single comes on @DanielPCarter @Radio1RockShow and now I have a speeding ticket. Totally worth it," the fan, Luke Mitchell, said.

"The price of partying," W.K. said before Mitchell announced that the speeding ticket cost 100 euros.

"LUKE: I would like to pay this speeding ticket for you. I was responsible for the sonic party power that caused you to speed," W.K. said. "I'll Direct Message you now to get your information. Please let me do this for you."

Mitchell, in an update, said that he told W.K. to donate the money and that he is now invited to an upcoming concert.

"Thank you so much, but I've asked @AndrewWK to donate the money to a far more worthy cause than myself. In return he has offered me the chance to see him at the @WedgewoodRooms already," Mitchell said.

"Music Is Worth Living For" is the first single from W.K.'s upcoming album You're Not Alone. The project, set to arrive on March 2, is W.K.'s first new album in nine years.
