Washita County-based Game Warden Josey Branch, who has only been with the department for a short time, responded to a Kiowa County property on Thursday on a report of an elk with its antlers entangled in a cotton bale tarp, electric fence and barbed wire fence. Advertisement Branch set up a camera to film as he shot off the animal's antlers above the bases. "He then shot the wire and bale tarp until most of it broke away," Oklahoma Game Wardens wrote on Facebook. "The bull then made his escape and will hopefully live on to become older and wiser."
