Fishermen challenge fish-stealing shark to tug-of-war

Jan. 10 (UPI) -- A trio of fishermen off the coast of South Australia found their fishing attempt foiled by a pair of large sharks that they challenged to a tug-of-war.

Rob East posted a video to YouTube showing footage from his fishing trip this week in a boat with Alex Whitehead and Rhett Gill.

The video shows the man watching the sharks they discovered near their boat off Victor Harbor in South Australia after a day of disappointing fishing.

The men attach some bait to a strap and use it to challenge one of the sharks, a 9-foot bronze whaler shark, to a game of tug-of-war.
