The man was filmed Tuesday evening using a blowtorch to melt the transparent ice that covered the sidewalk in front of his home after freezing rain fell on his southern Saskatchewan neighborhood. Advertisement Sidewalks and roads in the area were coated in thin layers of slippery and difficult to see ice following the rainfall on Tuesday. The video shows the man methodically moving the torch back and forth to melt the ice without damaging the concrete.
