Student sinks full-court putt to win $10,000

Jan. 8 (UPI) -- A student at South Carolina's Clemson University won $10,000 by putting a golf ball 94 feet across the basketball court to a tiny hole in a sign.

The Clemson Tigers Network tweeted a video showing student Christopher Carns taking on the putting challenge prior to a basketball game against Louisville.

The video shows the crowd erupt in cheers as the ball goes through the target.

Carns joyfully embraces the Tigers' costumed mascot as he is declared a $10,000 winner.
