Cordelia Hough posted a video to Facebook showing the crocodile she spotted about 10 a.m. Monday swimming toward The Strand in Townsville. Advertisement Hough reported her sighting top local authorities and The Strand closed the beach to swimmers for a time while officials ensured the croc had moved on from the area. Surf Life Saving Queensland said all beaches in the area were reopened without incident later in the day. It was unclear whether the croc was the same large reptile branded a "problem crocodile" when it was spotted swimming at the Port of Townsville in November.
