Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Dec. 27 (UPI) -- A West Virginia highway was littered with thousands of cans of beer when a tractor-trailer overturned and lost its load. Lincoln County 911 said the semi truck crashed into a utility pole Tuesday morning along state Route 3, just outside of Hamlin. Advertisement The truck overturned and spilled thousands of cans of beer. Photos from the scene show Coors Light and Miller High Life cans littering the roadway and the shoulder. The Hamlin and Duval Volunteer Fire Departments, Lincoln County EMS and West Virginia State Police all responded to the scene. Hamlin firefighters said the semi was the only vehicle involved in the crash. Two people, including the driver, were taken to a local hospital to be checked out with minor injuries.
