Dec. 22 (UPI) -- An Alabama county sheriff's office released footage of an escaped bull taking out its frustrations by ramming a deputy's patrol SUV.

The Dale County Sheriff's Office released footage this week of Deputy Scott Spurlock's SUV being rammed by an angry bull during an incident in July of this year.

"Generally you pull up and you can honk your horn or even get out and lead them into a field, or pasture, or gate. This particular day and this particular bull didn't want to be lead anywhere," Spurlock told WSFA-TV.

Sheriff Wally Olson said the bull had already damaged some parked cars belonging to area residents.

Olson said the bull was able to lift the front end of Spurlock's SUV off the ground.

"When you pick up the whole front end of a Tahoe, it shows you how strong the bull really was," Olson said.

Olson said the SUV incurred thousands of dollars worth of damage.

The bull was eventually recaptured and the owner decided to have it put down.
