High school basketball player's dunk breaks rim

Dec. 20 (UPI) -- A high school basketball game in Ohio had to be postponed when a player's slam dunk caused the rim to break.

A video filmed during the Tuesday game in Groveport shows Pickerington Central student Adrian Nelson dunking the ball and bringing down the rim.

Nelson's team was leading Groveport High 23-17, but officials decided to postpone the game due to the broken rim.

Officials said they are working on finding a date for the rescheduled game.
