A video filmed at the Dec. 11 wedding in the village of Masulkhapa, on the border of Indian states Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, shows panicked guests watching from the terrace of the home as the tiger wanders through the outdoor wedding set-up. The tiger calmly tours the wedding venue before wandering back out into the woods. Forest officials in both bordering states, as well as the Save Ecosystem And Tiger non-governmental organization, said they have been keeping watch on the tiger after it was spotted visiting nearby villages and wandering through roads. Officials said the tiger, which they suspect wandered toward human settlements after losing a territorial battle to a younger male, is believed to have been behind an attacks on a woman and a goat. The woman survived the encounter, the goat did not.
