Dec. 18 (UPI) -- A deer was caught on camera wandering into a Kohl's store in Ohio and running wild inside the business before being captured by police.

Witness Beth Shaffer posted a video to Facebook showing the buck running into the store through the automatic glass doors just after 8 p.m. Saturday.

Customers were evacuated from the store while three members of the public caught the deer and pinned it to the ground. Police arrived and helped tie the animal up so it could safely be carried to a rear exit and released.

Police said no one was injured during the incident and no serious damage to the store was caused by the deer.

"Every couple years we seem to get a deer break through a glass window somewhere into a store, they're rare," Troy Police Sgt. Richard Gummerlock told WHIO-TV. "They get spooked and do a lot of things."
