Dec. 18 (UPI) -- An employee at a TCBY frozen yogurt shop in North Carolina was shocked to open three boxes delivered to the business and find $220,000 worth of marijuana.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said a worker at the store in the Providence Plantation Shopping Center in Matthews opened three packages that arrived at the store in early December and discovered they were filled with a large amount of marijuana.
TCBY officials said they determined the packages had been delivered mistakenly and were actually meant for a P.O. Box at the postal store next door.
The store said the intended recipient's information -- along with the boxes of cannabis -- has been turned over to investigators.
Police said no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
