Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Firefighters in South Dakota were called to a crash site to help free at least 39 bison from an overturned tractor-trailer. The Pierre Fire Department tweeted a video showing firefighters helping bison run out from the overturned trailer. Advertisement Firefighters said they cut through the trailer to give the bison a route to escape into the adjacent field. The department said there were no human injuries from the crash, but one bison died from its injuries.
