Jennie Williams captured video Tuesday when Santa passed through her Warrington, England, neighborhood on a sleigh being pulled on a trailer by a car. Advertisement Santa waved to residents and wished them a Merry Christmas as Christmas classic The Snowman played. Father Christmas used his loudspeaker to offer an explanation for his brief visit as he passed by the homes: "Merry Christmas everybody, we've got a problem with the car, the clutch has gone. I can't stop, the clutch has gone on the car." Williams posted the video to Facebook. "Only in Warrington would Father Christmas say he 'can't stop, the clutch has gone on the car,'" she wrote. Locals said Santa planned to make a second visit Thursday night to make up for his earlier inability to stop.
