Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Residents of a New York state neighborhood are on the lookout for a "mad pooper" accused of repeatedly defecating outside of a woman's home.

Orchard Park police confirmed they received a complaint Nov. 8 from a woman in the Woodview Court area who said she found human feces wrapped in tissue outside of her home.

The woman said it was a repeat occurrence.

An anonymous ad placed in the Orchard Park PennySaver bore a warning for the culprit: "To the person/jogger who is pooping on our lawns in the Village of O.P.: STOP!!"

The ad informs the person, dubbed "the mad pooper" online, that they are violating an ordinance against depositing untreated sewage on land or water and states that trail cameras have been set up to catch them in the midst of their business.

Police said they have responded to defecation calls before, but it is usually in the area of New Era Field during or after Buffalo Bills games.

Police told the Buffalo News they "don't have much to go on" in the case.
