Dec. 13 (UPI) -- An Idaho couple captured video of their daughter snowboarding for the first time -- two days before her first birthday.

Nick and Whitney Rowley of Boise posted a video to YouTube showing their daughter, Cash, shredding the bunny slope at Bogus Basin Mountain Resort just two days before she turned 1.

"It was just really cool -- it was just a really proud Dad moment for me," Nick Rowley told KBOI-TV.

The couple said they bought Cash's pink and purple snowboard just a few weeks after she was born and waited until the baby was big enough to use it.

"And when she started walking at 9 months, it was like alright, we can do this, and then just to see her on the ski hill, I kind of started tearing up, of course, like a sappy Mom that I am," Whitney Rowley said.

The parents said Cash took a few practice runs in their living room before tackling the powder.

"The carpet offers a soft place for her to land and get kind of comfortable with being pulled or moving," Nick Rowley said.

The couple said they are planning a trip to South America in February and they are considering giving Cash her first surfing lesson.
