Dec. 1 (UPI) -- A horse bucked its teenage rider in Pennsylvania and went for a solo run that led her from the farm to a city's downtown.

Phoenixville Police said the horse threw its rider, a 16-year-old girl, at a farm in Chester Springs on Tuesday and the mare then made her way to Phoenixville.

The department posted a video to Facebook showing the horse trotting around downtown Phoenixville.

Officers from Phoenixville and East Pikeland Township responded to the scene and corralled the horse by the Colonial Theatre with the help of a passing civilian.

The horse was returned to the farm and the teenager was uninjured, police said.
