Hungry cockatoo rips away pieces of home's window

Nov. 30 (UPI) -- An Australia resident filming a cockatoo perched outside their window captured the moment the bird started prying away pieces of the house.

The video, filmed Wednesday at a home in Sydney, shows a cockatoo perching expectantly on the outside ledge of the house's window.

After a few moments of watching the person inside, the bird starts to rip away pieces of the window trim.

"This bird wanted to be fed, found us in the house, deadpanned looked at me, and then ripped my window decoration off," the filmer wrote.
