Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Nov. 29 (UPI) -- An Australian charter boat captain captured video of a rare sight: a crocodile and a shark feasting side-by-side on a humpback whale carcass. Jeremy Tucker, skipper of the Great Escape charter boat, captured video north of the Montgomery Reef of a crocodile on the carcass with some tiger sharks. Advertisement "There was a crocodile eating the side of the carcass as well as the tiger sharks, and a few other sharks," Tucker told the Australian broadcasting Corp. Tucker's video shows the crocodile eating side-by-side with one of the sharks. "It was really interesting to see how the crocodile and the tiger shark were interacting," he said. Tucker said he has only seen one other occurrence of a crocodile peacefully interacting with sharks. "I have seen it once before, and that time there was actually a crocodile lying on top of the whale," he said. "And it was sunbaking while there were tiger sharks hoeing into the side of the whale."
