Nov. 17 (UPI) -- An Ohio resident captured video of a white-tailed deer with unusual piebald coloration wandering around a residential area.

Kelly Pearson Kishmarton posted photos and videos to Facebook showing the deer, which bears fur with a rare brown-spots-on-white coloration scheme, wandering a neighborhood in Seven Hills, near Cleveland.

"Just a regular day driving to the store and I witness this rarity in Seven Hills.. A piebald deer (yes, I googled it)," Kishmarton wrote Thursday.

Cleveland Metroparks, which posted a photo last year of an animal that might be the same deer, said piebald coloration is caused by a genetic variation in less than 1 percent of white-tailed deer.
