A video recorded by Tanja Bryan and posted to Instagram by @australia, Tourism Australia's official account, shows the kangaroo swimming to shore right in front of the woman and hopping away. Advertisement Tourism Australia wrote in the video's description that the 'roo was doing some "morning laps on the [Gold Coast]." "[Bryan] spotted this #kangaroo taking a dip at the Broadwater, which is the perfect place to cool off on a warm day. The Broadwater is a waterfront promenade stretching from Biggera Waters in the north to Southport in the south, with lush parklands and calm shallow waters. Temperatures are starting to get rather balmy around this time of year in @queensland's #GoldCoast, so it's no wonder the wildlife need to escape the heat!"
