Teen holds Whataburger-themed quinceanera photo shoot

Nov. 14 (UPI) -- A Texas girl seeking to show some pride in her state as well as her favorite restaurant held a Whataburger-themed photo shoot for her quinceanera.

Natalia resident Evelyn Lopez Terrazas, who posted some shots from the photoshoot on Twitter, said including her favorite food in her quinceanera photoshoot seemed like a logical choice.

"I love Whataburger, so I was like, I might as well take pictures with my big dress and my favorite food," Terrazas told KENS-TV. "That's how we do it in Texas."

The shoot featured photos of Terrazas posing with a #1 and a #3 from the Whataburger menu, as well as a photo with an oversized table flag.

Terrazas' photoshoot included other Texas-themed shots, including a photo of the teen holding a longhorn skull.

The photos came to the attention of Whataburger's corporate office.

"Our fans constantly amaze us with their creativity, and we're honored to be a part of all of life's big celebrations," Whataburger Vice President of Communications Pam Cox said. "To show our appreciation, we're sending Evelyn a little something to say thank you!"
