Nov. 13 (UPI) -- A New York commuter captured video of two subway-dwelling rats engaging in a tug-of-war over a discarded French fry.
The video, posted to Instagram by user Seth Salcedo, shows two rats pulling on either end of a crinkle-cut fry at a subway station in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.

One of the rats is eventually able to pull the fried potato out of the other's mouth and flees with its prize, the other rat in hot pursuit.
"It's real in these frites," Salcedo wrote.
