"Thank you to everyone who helped rescue this kangaroo trapped in Sugarloaf Reservoir. She decided to try and escape from us by jumping into the water, we are now making sure she is warm and well cared for until she is ready to be released back home," the group said. The group said the kangaroo was being treated for hypothermia, myopathy, and wearing on her tail and the pads of her feet.
