Nov. 1 (UPI) -- A South Carolina sheriff's deputy responded to a neighborhood to rescue a puppy that ended up with its head caught in a detached section of wire fence.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office posted body camera footage to Facebook showing Master Deputy John Boyd working to free the "beautiful pup" from the chain-link fence.
The deputy worked for several minutes to free the canine, which "lived to bark another day."
The sheriff's office said the puppy has not been claimed and is available for adoption at Greenville County Animal Care.
