"So this just happened out my window as I was leaving New York headed back home to Nashville. This guy rocks!" McBride wrote.

The video quickly earned millions of views and tens of thousands of shares. The worker was identified as operations agent Kyran Ashford.

Other videos have since emerged showing Ashford entertaining passengers by rapping his way through a boarding procedure announcement at an airport desk.

Ashford told ABC News he hopes his performances give passengers "30 seconds of positive vibes."

"Everything I've been doing, that's all a part of who I am," Ashford told the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. "My mother raised me to be the type of man to walk around with great character, and that people should never be ashamed of who they are."

Ashford said he was shocked at his newfound viral fame.

"I'm mind-blown out of this whole thing," Ashford said. "I got no sleep last night, just watching all the reviews come in."
