Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Authorities in Florida are trying to identify two suspects who committed armed robberies while wearing "Freddie Krueger" and Scream masks.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post that it is working together with the Ocala Police Department to attempt to identify two people who wore "distinguishing masks" during a series of robberies.

The duo committed robberies at a Pizza Hut Oct. 16 and at a Krystals store on Wednesday. The masked suspects were also blamed for an attempted robbery at a Super 8 Motel on Wednesday.

"One suspect wears a 'Freddy Krueger' mask and the other wears a Scream mask," the sheriff's office said. "In all of the incidents, one is armed and threatens the employees while the other gathers currency in a bag."

Investigators said an undetermined amount of money was stolen during the robberies and the Super 8 Motel managed to foil the pair by locking the doors before they entered.
