Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Deputies in Florida worked with a wildlife trapper to capture a 12-foot alligator spotted by a resident wandering loose in a neighborhood. The Indian River County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a beach in the neighborhood near St. Christopher Lane to remove the loose gator. Advertisement The sheriff's office posted a photo to Facebook showing the deputies posing with the bound alligator. "Deputies assisted a professional trapper who was used to capture the alligator," the post said. "The animal will be relocated to an area well clear of this residential neighborhood."
