Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said they apprehended a "suspicious iguana" at a restaurant's outdoor seating area after a days-long "Iguanahunt."

The Stuart Police Department posted a photo to Facebook showing a captor victoriously carrying the large lizard away from the restaurant in the city's downtown.

"Stuart Police apprehended a suspicious Iguana hiding from authorities from a local downtown restaurant," the post said.

"This guy has been able to elude officers for a few days now and sightings of him resulted in an 'Iguanahunt,' leaving officers empty handed. Today, he was safely taken into custody without incident from the outdoor seating area," police wrote.
