"[Florida Power & Light] was called to the scene to secure power, which allowed our firefighters access into the normally dangerous box," Division Chief Michael Moser told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. A video recorded by the Coral Springs Fire Department shows two firefighters digging around inside the box until one of them emerges victoriously with the kitten. The feline now has a new home with a country club employee, Moser said.
