Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Police in Tennessee were forced to play cowboy when an overturned semi released cattle into the roadway.
Metro Nashville Police said a semi overturned on Briley Parkway, near Interstate 40, allowing several cows to escape and run loose on the road.
Two cows died in the crash and its aftermath, police said, while several others were rounded up and placed in a makeshift pen at the shoulder of the road.
A new truck was called to the scene to transport the cows.
Police said the driver was not injured.
