Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Police in Florida are trying to identify two suspects who committed an armed robbery at a Waffle House while wearing Halloween masks.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office said the two suspects were wearing distinctive masks -- a creepy clown and an animal-like demon -- when they walked into the Waffle House in Ocala around midnight Tuesday.

The sheriff's office posted a security camera photo of the suspects to Facebook.

"We do have two suspects here that had two very distinguishing masks they were wearing," sheriff's office spokeswoman Lauren Lettelier told WKMG-TV.

The sheriff's office is hoping a member of the public might be able to recognize the masks.

"We have seen it before but it's not something we see every day," Lettelier said. "So we're hoping this very distinguishing element to this case can be noticed by our community and immediately rectify this case and close it and [hopefully bring] these people into custody."

Deputies said one of the suspects was armed with a handgun and threatened to shoot employees if they did not fill a bag with cash.

The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
