Oct. 12 (UPI) -- British transit officials shared video of the "horrifying moment" a stroller collided with a moving train and was smashed to pieces -- but it was thankfully unoccupied.
The Rail Safety and Standards Board shared video on YouTube showing CCTV footage from the Nuneaton, England, railway station.
The footage posted Monday shows the unattended stroller being pulled by the slipstream of a passing freight train and colliding with a car, smashing it and its contents to pieces.
"Mercifully, a child is not in the pushchair at the time," the RSSB said.
The "horrifying moment" was shared on Twitter by the British Transport Police.
"Thankfully the pram was empty, a disaster narrowly avoided. Remember the railway is a dangerous place, always take extra care," the transport police tweeted.
