Magpie struggles to attack motorcyclist on Australian road

Oct. 10 (UPI) -- An Australian driver captured video of a perturbed magpie attacking a mail carrier on a motorcycle.

The video, recorded Monday in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, shows the magpie swooping down in rainy conditions to attack the postal worker, who was wearing bright yellow rain gear while riding a motorcycle.

"Oh, you're kidding!" the filmer laughs, as the magpie struggles to keep up with the motorcycle and dive bomb its rider.

"I was on the way back home from dropping the kids at school when I saw a magpie swoop down to attack a motorcycle postman. Was quite funny how hard the magpie tried to keep up!" the filmer wrote.
