"I've won $400 and $600 here and there," he said. "I was waiting to hit the jackpot!"
The man said the jackpot he was awaiting came when he checked the results of the Aug. 30 drawing and discovered he matched the numbers.
He said the win came only one day before his birthday, but he plans to celebrate by giving the money as a gift to his wife.
"I told my wife, 'God gave me a gift,'" he said, "and I know what I am going to do with this gift."
