Inline skater hitches a ride on the back of Irish bus

By
Ben Hooper

Sept. 12 (UPI) -- An Irish commuter captured video of an inline skater hitching a free ride on the back of another bus on a city street.

Ciaran Farrelly said he was riding the bus home during rush hour in Dublin when he spotted the unauthorized passenger on the back of the 38A bus from Burlington Road to Damastown.

"I was just on the bus home from work and two lads were hovering around the back of the bus as it pulled off O'Connell bridge," Farrelly told Joe.ie. "One of them grabbed the back of the bus just as it pulled off, I barely got my phone out in time but I got my priorities right! It reminded me of hitching a ride in Tony Hawk's Underground game."

"Our bus driver wasn't too pleased, as you can guess from the horn at the end. A mental thing to try but he's probably the one in the most danger. Wiping out in real life must hurt more than in video games," he said.
