Patrick Ponce, 15, set a world record by completing a Rubik's cube in 4.96 during an event in Virginia.

"World record?" the teen said after slamming the solved cube on the table.
Ponce's reaction drew a large crowd of his peers, who gathered around him to congratulate him on the achievement.
Officials reexamined the cube after the attempt was complete to determine whether it had been scrambled properly, but ultimately confirmed the record.
Ponce completed the record attempt in 17 moves carefully examining the cube for a few seconds before frantically shifting the pieces to complete the puzzle.
His performance topped the previous record of 4.73 seconds set by Australian Feliks Zemdegs, 20, in December 2016.
"Hey that's pretty good," Ponce said of his record-breaking performance.
