Aug. 31 (UPI) -- USANA Health Sciences Inc. celebrated its 25th anniversary by gathering the world's largest collection of people dressed as scientists.

A total of 893 people dressed in goggles and white lab coats came together at the company's annual international convention in Salt Lake City, Utah to set the Guinness World Record for "Largest gathering of people dressed as scientists."

"USANA is celebrating a large milestone this year and we thought, what better way to celebrate than by attempting to break a Guinness World Records title spokesman Dan Macuga said. "The title of the Largest gathering of people dressed as scientistsis a perfect way to pay homage to USANA's 25 years in science, and its founder Dr. Myron Wentz."

In order to achieve the record all members were required to wear a white lab coat and goggles while holding a test tube or beaker.

USANA collection of scientists nearly doubled the previous record of 489 participants.
