Rude magpie repeatedly dive-bombs cyclist's helmet

Aug. 31 (UPI) -- A Pennsylvania cyclist filming his late-August ride turned his camera around to show an aggressive magpie repeatedly dive-bombing his helmet.

The cyclist's video, recorded Aug. 23, shows him riding through the streets of Sunbury when he turns his camera around to show the cause of a repeated impact on his head -- a swooping magpie.

The bird stays with the cyclist for more than two minutes, repeatedly dive-bombing to hit him on the helmet.

"I was just riding my bike and having fun, when some feathered friends decided to join me on my outing. Magpie swooping season has arrived early, it seems," the man wrote.
