The video posted to Facebook by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office shows a group of deputies gathered around a small alligator that had its mouth already taped shut. Advertisement The alligator jolts its head, and the deputy standing nearest to the reptile jumps, lets out a loud yelp, and runs for safety. The deputy soon joins his colleagues and onlookers in laughing at his overreaction. "Our deputies respond to all kinds of calls, from crime to gators! Side note, we're not sure if our deputy was screaming like that, but it sure sounded like it, haha," the Facebook post said.
