A squirrel gained the praise of Philadelphia Eagle's fans after sprinting onto the field and inspired the team to score 14 unanswered points.

"This game is getting nuts," the team wrote.
The team's Twitter account pointed out that the squirrel may have inspired the Eagles to improve their play, as they went on to score 14 unanswered points after its appearance.
It was unclear what happened to the squirrel after its moment in the spotlight, but the Eagles announced they had opened a spot on their roster for the field intruder.
"Roster Move: The Eagles sign the squirrel, release Matt McGloin," the team said.
